Scripture To Think About: Psalm 63: 1-4

O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.

(2) I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
(3) Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
(4) I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.

It's been a few weeks since I last posted any scripture on this site. I have been through a bit of a dry spell to figure out what to post for the site. With the crazy politicking going on in the nation, I do admit I did write one wacky post. I heard a few of you readers have seen the post and got a laugh or two out of it; yet I must be careful to not cross the line, at least not too often. Hopefully, I'll have a few more scriptures to post quickly this week. I hope this one helps!

Howie The Red Nosed Moonbat

Howard The Red Nosed Moonbat

Howard the red-nosed moonbat

had a very polished nose.

And if you ever saw him

you would even say it snows.

All of the other moonbats

Ask him to lead them in their game.

They always want Dean Howard

Leading them to the hall of shame.

On November's election eve

Barack came to say:

Howie with your plan not bright

won't you take a hike tonight?

Now all the moonbats hate him,

As they cower, run and flee!

Howie the red nosed moonbat

Will be ancient history.

Scripture To Think About: Genesis 2:21-25

So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs, and closed up the place with flesh. (22) Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

(23) The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman', for she was taken out of man." (24) For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. (25) The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

We are facing, as a nation, an attack on marriage and the family. In California, we have had our will to keep marriage between a man and a woman usurped by the radical homosexual community through the California Supreme Court, and other states are starting to follow suit. This is one of the last things to give way in society before it faces severe judgments by God Almighty. We are facing a storm of epic proportions in which we will not be able to easily survive. We still have a chance to turn things around, but we must be active socially to instill changing back to doing the right thing.
