Apollo 11 Anniversary

Kudos to the anniversary of Apollo 11! 40 years ago, the United States was the first to have a man walk on the moon! Thank you Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Edwin E. "Buzz" Aldrin Jr. for the historic event!

A little side note: the first food ingested while on the moon was bread and wine, which was communion for Buzz Aldrin. NASA kept it secret, when moonbat atheist Madelyn Murray O'Hair filed a frivilous lawsuit against the United States and NASA for the '68 Apollo 8 moonpass, when William Anders, Jim Lovell, and Frank Borman read from the book of Genesis, while passing by the moon.

Godspeed!

  1. I fear under the new Liberal Democrat administration NASA will lose funding. Dreams of another trip to the moon or to mars will be nothing but that -- dreams.

  2. You can rest easy Debbie. Your irrational fears that a "Democrat" administration will gut NASA is nothing more than a Repuglican fairy tale. A quick glance at NASA funding history shows that the Clinton administration budgets spent an average of 16.469 billion dollars per year on NASA while the Bush administration spent an average of 16.126 billion dollars per year on NASA. In case you don't have your Wonder Woman calculator handy, that's slightly less than Clinton's average NASA funding. Maybe if Bush would have gotten the occasional hummer he would of loosened up the purse strings a little more. But alas, Repugs don't believe in oral sex so NASA suffered. And despite Bush's stated goals of returning to the moon and a manned mission to Mars, his administration underfunded those publically stated goals by over 1 billion dollars per year. On the other hand, the Obama administration is spending 17.2 billion dollars on NASA in 2009 and has proposed a 2010 NASA funding amount of 18.7 billion dollars which includes 1 billion dollars allocated during your much hated American Recovery Act stimulus bill. All dollar amounts are inflation adjusted to 2009 values. What surprises me is your concern that America won't be able to realize it's dreams of manned missions to the moon and Mars. What exactly is the value in manned missions to those places in dire economic times like these. I would think a fiscally conservative Repuglican like yourself would demand some real value in return for such an expensive trip. We could gain just as much or more scientific information about the moon and other planets with robotic missions for a lot less money. Oh, I almost forgot. Go Palin in 2012!! Obama could use the cakewalk to victory.

  3. Astroglider,

What planet did you come from? And on your planet, just how many others are like you? Before you launch anything against any of my readers, you have to go through me! So while you blindly babble on, following the Wizard of Ob (or should I say the naked Emperor Obama with his new clothes), your party will be sent flying into the blackhole in 2012 like a Kansas Tornado!

Bush couldn't spend as much as Clinton did, because he had to defend our great nation against a bunch of terrorist Jihadist Thugs like Oblahblah Bin Laden and his cast of kooks! By the way, your emperor Obama and his buddy Joey are now plumping themselves like a bunch of Foster Farms imposter chickens! And some of his biggest accomplices are Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Barbara Boxer, and Harry Reid. So while he's getting drunk on beer this week while chatting with a Cambridge Police Officer, you can rest assure that his breaks will soon fail on him, and he'll go down in a big political crash!

By the way, if you go against Sarah Palin, you will get your nuts chopped, so beware!

And no, Palin will not run in 2012; she'll help a conservative get into office instead!

Oh yes, by the way, check out the Foster Farms Chickens on YouTube. They sure look like Obama and Biden!

  4. 3 points Mystere.

    1. I responded, on topic, with documented facts on NASA spending to Deborah's post.

    2. Bush spent nearly the same as Clinton, just not quite as much, despite having to fund a discretionary war in Iraq waged to avenge daddy Bush.

    3. I hope you're right and Palin helps some future Republican candidate just as much as she helped McCain become president. Palin is poison to middle of the road voters. They will never vote for anyone she attaches herself to. The only ones who don't see that is far right wing and religious nuts like you.

  5. Astroglider,

I really don't care who is right about this. Let me make several things clear: FIRST, YOU CAME ON MY BLOG, AND ATTACKED ONE OF MY GUESTS! I DON'T FIND THAT THE LEAST BIT FUNNY! ONCE YOU GO AFTER SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN RATTRAPPER OR ME, ALL BETS ARE OFF! ATTACKING MY GUESTS IS OFF LIMITS ON MY BLOG!

AND ON THE DAY YOU DIE, YOU'D BETTER HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT! BECAUSE WHEN YOU MEET GOD FACE TO FACE, YOU'LL BE FACING SHEER TERROR UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE PEACE WITH HIM THROUGH JESUS CHRIST BEFORE YOU DIE!

BY THE WAY, I READ YOUR PERSONAL CHEAP SHOTS ON DEBBIE HAMILTON'S BLOG "RIGHT TRUTH". UNLIKE DEBBIE, WHO HAS SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY, I'M LIKE AN ANGRY SAMURAI WHEN PROVOKED...I'LL DELIVER SOME SLASHES AND GASHES AGAINST YOU!!!

SO GO BACK TO YOUR DEMOCRATIC LEFT WING EXTREMIST MOONBAT BLACK HOLE BEFORE I COME AFTER YOU WITH A VENGEANCE!

  6. Oooooooooh. Now I'm scared!! Please, please don't come after me Mr. Moonbat slayer. Whatever shall I do? Wherever shall I hide. If you haven't noticed dipshit, the way blogs work is you post something, somebody else comments on it and somebody else comments on that. Nobody "came after" one of your readers. If you post or comment on a blog then it's not unexpected that somebody may take issue with what was said. Grow up or shut down your blog if you can't live with the rules of the game. Lastly, I'm just wondering who will chop my nuts off for going against Palin, you or Jesus?

  7. Yo Astro! You started the fight, but I'm gonna finish it! You think it's fine to come onto a blog, act like a troll, and use vulgar language, when kids can access it? You forgot 1 major rule: I am the editor of this blog...I MAKE THE RULES ON THIS BLOG! I can kick you out anytime I want to! If anyone is rude to my readers, Rattrapper or I will do what's right!
